As the proud owner of a Porsche 911 (996), I decided I’d like to make and sell some T-shirts celebrating this great (and much maligned) design.
The reference to Enough Hot Air has two meanings:
1. This design was the first in the illustrious 911 line of sports cars to feature a water cooled engine.
2. Some rich folk in the US managed to blow theirs up and started a legal war to get their money back.
They largely failed and a superb design was unfairly discredited.
