I spent a happy day attempting to attach my new GoPro camera to my beloved 996.
A suction cup fitment had been purchased (insanely overpriced at £25). Even so, the many arm components supplied between cup and camera were very difficult to arrange so that they gave a good field of view without interfering with driving.
Eventually, I placed the cup on the driver’s window and managed to overcome the worst ‘programming’ problems of the lockable arm joints.
Here is the camera mounted so as to allow the road ahead to be viewed, as well as enabling the instruments to come into shot when the window motor is engaged.
