I built this model when I was about 15. It is in 1/35th scale and is thus big enough to show the inadequacies and inaccuracies in the plastic kit.
Having spent the previous summer clambering inside an original at the Bovington Tank Museum, I knew a lot about the shape of the clips on the underside of the exhaust manifolds etc, etc. This machine has since been restored to running order, I believe.
(I seem to have outgrown my detail-obsessed Aspergers phase…mostly).
