I just wanted to provide somewhere secure for our DVD player (a.k.a. iMac) to perch, without constantly being bumped and tripped over.
An ancient Pivotelli speaker mount was cannibalised and used to support a semicircular wood panel. No need for a keyboard, since this is a single-use machine.
Ideally, I’d chase the powercord into the wall invisibly and attach the machine to the domestic network wirelessly, but that’s perhaps another project.
