Here is another wire bird sculpture undertaken as part of a class I ran at Remake.
In the end, I really enjoy the fact that the bird balances on its own feet and that small nudges make it oscillate in a kind of bobbing motion (that I didn’t plan).
I managed to get over my obsession with making the thing only out of triangles, which resulted in a more pleasing, minimalist shape.
The truth is that several of the participants on the course made better sculptures than me 🙂
