I was given only about an hour’s notice that my wife needed a banner and frame to take to a march for Scottish Independence.
A lion rampant was traced and equipped with some textbooks (a reference to some forgettable, numpty ex-prime minister).
Then, I made a frame using two woodwork brackets, some tentpoles and a lot of zip ties. It held up in the Edinburgh weather rather well…certainly it will last for as many events as necessary until we get away from the hubris of Westminster and its ugly, public school ethos.
