Bird, 2011

Wire sculpture based on triangular topology. I tend to start with a drawn, two-dimensional outline and then move from front to back, creating new triangles as I go.

These allow me to introduce small asymmetries and lock them in position, so that the final shape (after various adjustments) becomes surprisingly fluid and natural.

These sculptures follow a novel, modular approach to assembly which makes them suitable for every scale – from the desktop to the corporate foyer. Email me if you’d like to buy a kit or commission a new piece.
